I invented a board-wargame once, covering the first 120 years of the
Islamic Empire; but I didn't have the initiative to publish it.
I'm enjoying the latest games coming out from the wargame companies,
and buying one about every couple months.
Mi kredas ke mi parolas Esperanton iome bone--I speak Esperanto pretty well.
I've studied Spanish and Russian, but don't speak them as well as Esperanto.
I've studied Interlingua, and would speak it better than Spanish, if Esperanto
hadn't befuddled my memory of it. I've briefly studied Old English, Klingon
and Volap:uk.
I've enjoyed "studying" for an hour Welsh, Quechua, Basque.
The conlang creation bug has bitten me, and I'm starting to try to put one together.
It's isolating, not inflected--that is, it has a lot of little
separate words for things like plural and tense, instead of endings.
I'm a little surprised to find bits of fictional history of the people
that speak it coming to mind as I create the language.
